Transfers to Madrid hospitals for medical appointments from Segovia
Looking for a taxi to Madrid hospitals, or a car like Uber, Cabify or Bolt: here you book Spanish private hire (VTC) with advance booking and a fixed price from your town.
An early specialist appointment in Madrid means leaving before dawn, and coming back means waiting for a bus after a procedure. A door-to-door transfer avoids both: you leave at a reasonable hour and return when the patient is ready.

Madrid hospitals from Segovia
Appointments from the province are concentrated at Segovia General Hospital and, for some specialities, in Madrid hospitals. This is a car with a driver to and from the appointment, not a medical transport service.
How to get there from each area
- Segovia y su entorno
- From the city, Madrid is reached on the AP-61 toll road to San Rafael, where it joins the AP-6 and the Guadarrama tunnel, then the A-6 into Madrid at Moncloa or the M-40. For Barajas the route continues on the M-40 or M-50 without going into the centre; the alternative, the high-speed train from Guiomar to Chamartín, still leaves a connection to the airport.
- Sierra de Guadarrama segoviana
- El Espinar and San Rafael have the AP-6 on their doorstep: the mountains are crossed through the Guadarrama tunnel or, toll-free, over the Alto del León pass, before descending on the A-6. From La Granja the way to Madrid is via Segovia and the AP-61, or over the Navacerrada pass, shorter but a mountain road with snow in winter.
- Tierra de Pinares
- From Cuéllar the road runs down to Segovia on the A-601 and then to Madrid on the AP-61 and AP-6. For Barajas the route then crosses northern Madrid on the M-40 or M-50.
- Nordeste de Segovia
- From the north-east the natural route skips Segovia: Riaza takes the N-110 to the A-1, and Sepúlveda and Cantalejo also join the A-1, which crosses the mountains over the Somosierra pass and enters Madrid from the north, close to Barajas.

Frequently asked questions
Does the price include waiting during the appointment?
It is agreed beforehand. For short appointments we normally wait at no extra cost; for procedures lasting several hours it works out cheaper to book the car by the hour than to pay for two separate transfers.
Is this medical transport?
No. It is a non-assisted transfer in a car with a driver: we carry no medical staff or equipment and it does not replace an ambulance. If the patient needs care during the journey, medical transport is required.
